Q: I have my CCNP. I was just wondering how hard it would be for me out of college to find a job with no work experience?

Q: How to create a resume that will get noticed by recruiters?

Q: Blacklisting by recrutiers...does it happen?

Q: Concerning Gov. jobs, are there any perks working for the gov. other than hard to get fired?

Q: [getting an interview] How do I get an interview in the current IT job market?

Q: [interview questions] How do I answer these interview questions?..

Q: [resume template] Does anyone have a blank template for a resume? I have seen some but they really don't look professional and someone pointed me to a resume writer but who wants to pay 250$ an hour for someone to write your life's history.

Q: [help desk interview] I might be interviewing for a help desk position soon, so I'm looking for some common or "generic" helpdesk troubleshooting scenarios. Just some ideas of what to expect.

Q: [exams on resume] When you include MCP on your resume, do most of you just put Microsoft Certified Professional ... or do you also include the tests that you have passed so far?

Q: [MCP or CCNA] I have A+ and I just got Network+. I need some advice about which certification to get next, MCP or CCNA? Since I just got done studying for Net+, I feel like I'm probably half way to CCNA. But, Windows 2000 Pro(70-210) would be just as attainable for me or probably more so. What's more likely to land me a decent job, (A+, Network+ and CCNA) or (A+, Network+ and MCP)? I intend to go for MSCA next and probably onto MSCE eventually. However, I want to get a job after my next certification. So, MCP is definitely in my future, but will CCNA be more helpful in getting a job right now?

Q: [MCSE or CCIE] Eventually my boss would like to see me get an MCSE or a CCIE. Which is better? I already have an MCSE for NT4.

Q: [MCSE or CCNP] I have the following certs: Comptia Core and Os, Windows 2000 Server (install, config, main) and will write my CCNA in the next couple of weeks. Having a hard time deciding career path, MCSE or CCNP.

Q: [job market] What can I realistically expect to do with MSCE, MSCA, MCDBA, and MCSD certifications in the IT industry? I haven't finished my degree yet, and I have no relevant work experience. I've been using/building/upgrading PC's for the last 8 years. I've also done some dabbling with Visual Studio and ColdFusion. Until I finish my degree, would I have any chance of landing a job over my present $30k with those certs?

Q: [certifications or degree] Can certifications be a complete replacement for a diploma/degree? ..If you were to bet your money on an employee for the success of your company, would you place your bets on a CCIE + SCSA + MCSE + LCA + RHCE or on someone with a four year degree from say Waterloo University, given both have about 3-5 years of industry experience?
